First we have our granite (the piece on top) and our cabinets. After weeks and weeks of going back and forth, I went with the Cherryvale cabinets. In some lights, they have a cherry-wood look, but for the most part they are just dark. We're still not sure if we'll have room for my china cabinet, and on the off chance that we do, I didn't want it to look off with the black/brown cabinets.
I won the carpet argument too. Jeremy really wanted tile in the living room, but after three years without carpet in our living room and remembering how non-homey it felt to me, I really wanted carpet. I know it's gross but we got an upgrade on the carpet and now I'll just have to make sure I get a killer vacuum!
The door is up-side down, but you get the picture. We tried to get this exact door with our first house, but it didn't fit. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it. Ha!
We went with the white with white swirls counter tops for the boys bathroom and the half-bath.
We ordered this amazing piece for our entry-way. It's is beautiful!!! We went with the darker tile on the bottom. It's going to look so awesome.
We are super-duper excited, as I'm sure you can tell. Is it too early to start a count down? Ha!
And these little pieces of heaven are why I'll be starting a diet tomorrow. They are sugar overload to the max but so yummy! And for me, they signify the start of Fall like nothing else can.
