We have all been super busy this past week. With work, homework, cooking, cleaning, and school activities, I'm completely drained! Between both boys, I feel like we have about 2 hours of homework each night! By the end of the day, my brain is fried!
Houston had Muffin's with Mom's this morning. It's really just an excuse to get the parent's to school to visit the book fair but it was fun to eat breakfast with the little monkey. Both boys have open house this week too. I cannot believe it's almost October. Holy Toledo...where has the year gone? Not that I'm too sad...I'm especially ready for the last week of January!
We went to the football game again this past weekend. Barbers Hill beat Dayton (their biggest rival). It was a pretty exciting game and came down to the wire. I love the small-town feel of our little town. I can't wait until the boys are participating in school athletics.
I love this time of the year. I can't wait to bust out some fall decor and the boys are already picking out their Halloween costumes. The weather is perfect and Christmas is just around the corner. Thankfully, I've now started my Christmas shopping. Now, I don't feel like a slacker.
